Addendum to the Privacy Policy - Skin AI

Our website offers an AI-powered skin analysis (the “Skin AI”) that can use a photograph of your face (“Selfie”) to produce a cosmetic skin reading and personalised skincare suggestions.

The Selfie is never uploaded. The analysis runs entirely inside your own browser, on your own device. The image is drawn into a canvas, measured, and discarded when you leave the step. It is not sent to us, it is not sent to any third party, and it is not stored — not on our servers and not in your account.

The Skin AI:

  • does not perform facial recognition;
  • does not identify you as a specific individual;
  • does not create or store biometric identifiers or facial-geometry templates;
  • does not infer your skin colour, race or ethnic origin from the photograph — skin tone is only ever the answer you choose yourself in the questionnaire;
  • does not retain the photograph at all.

What is kept, and only if you are signed in, is the numeric result of the analysis — a small set of 0–100 scores plus your selected preferences — saved in your browser’s local storage on the device you used, so your Skin Diary can show them back to you. You can erase it at any moment with “Delete my diary” on the diary page. Clearing your browser data erases it too.

If you have consented to marketing, we also record that an analysis took place: the date, whether the camera step was used, and how many analyses you have completed. No skin reading is ever sent to our email platform.

Use of the Skin AI is voluntary, and the camera step can be skipped: the questionnaire alone will still produce a routine.
